Attending groups, listening to others’ experiences, and witnessing different forms of resilience can be healing as we may realize that we are never alone in our journey. Through showing our emotions and vulnerabilities in this safe space, we have the opportunities to practice deeply connecting with self and others, and ultimately, we learn to form and maintain meaningful connections outside of the group.

Groups work can be powerful and healing when one connects well with the group. In fact, groups dynamic can be very different from the dynamic in individual sessions. Some may find it safer and more comfortable to share their vulnerabilities and experience in a group setting, and some may not. That is okay, we find the way that works for us in our healing journey.
